Charles Street.

A simply beautiful home that celebrates calm restraint and quiet luxury. Charles Street is a new build that perfectly balances minimalism with a gentle splash of colour and warmth. Soft white walls, finely detailed joinery and timber textures create a tranquil backdrop for family life, while carefully chosen lighting, textiles and handles bring personality into every room.

Throughout the home you will find a considered mix of Touch Handles hardware. Matt White Ova Pull Handles create a clean, architectural line on white cabinetry, while the hand made TouchMade Cadello Crest Timber Pull Handles in clear coated American Oak add sculptural warmth to the bedroom wardrobes & kitchen cabinets. Together they form a subtle thread that connects each space and ties the whole project together.

The design story

The design approach for Charles Street is all about softness and simplicity. Clean planes of white cabinetry sit alongside warm oak joinery and pale timber flooring. The palette is intentionally restrained, allowing the form and detail of the joinery to shine. Rounded furniture, sculptural light fittings and textural fabrics add softness so the home feels welcoming rather than stark.

Hardware plays a quiet yet important role. The curved profile of the Ova Pull Handle mirrors the soft silhouettes found in the lighting and furniture, while the Cadello Crest timber pulls introduce a handcrafted touch that grounds the interior and makes each wardrobe feel like a custom piece of furniture.

The kitchen heart

In the kitchen, warm timber joinery is paired with a pale, gently veined benchtop and curved bar stools. The Matt White Ova Pull Handle is used on the tall pantry doors, reinforcing the vertical rhythm and keeping the look clean and contemporary. Soft terracotta pendants bring a playful hit of colour that echoes the warm tones of the timber.

From this angle you can see how the Ova pulls in the kitchen connect with the cabinetry in the surrounding dining and living spaces. The hardware is subtle, yet it quietly reinforces the overall design language of curved forms and soft, rounded edges.

Wardrobes and a hardworking study nook

The matt white Ova Pull Handle flows through to the white robe doors and hallway storage, adding a gentle vertical line without visually cluttering the space. The profile sits proud of the door just enough to feel comfortable in the hand, while still reading as slim and refined on the panel.

A compact study nook is tucked neatly into the hallway, framed by white joinery and a floating timber desktop. Here the Ova pull appears again, this time beside a sculptural chair and a playful lamp in a warm terracotta tone. It is a perfect example of how consistent hardware choices can help small functional spaces feel as considered as the main living areas.

Bedrooms wrapped in timber warmth

In the bedrooms, the mood shifts from fresh white to enveloping warmth. Floor to ceiling timber wardrobes anchor each room and add a tailored, custom feel. The clear coated American Oak Cadello Crest Timber Pull Handle is the hero here, its soft crest profile echoing the natural grain and gentle movement of the oak.

A second bedroom continues the story with more oak joinery, textural carpet and sun washed bedlinen. The Cadello Crest pulls bring a tactile moment to the doors and invite you to reach out and touch the joinery as you move through the room.

A cohesive hardware story

Across the entire Charles Street project, the hardware choices create a gentle rhythm from room to room. The repeated use of soft curves, matt finishes and natural timber ensures every space feels connected, while still allowing each zone to express its own personality through colour, texture and styling.

Charles Street is a reminder that thoughtful hardware is more than a final detail. It is a small design decision that can completely transform how a home feels and functions day to day.
